"Her" — Psychological Thriller

About the Project

For this project, I re-imagined Spike Jonze’s Her by subverting its original romantic narrative into a high-tension psychological thriller. Using Adobe Premiere Pro, I manipulated the film’s pacing and rhythm to create a sense of unease, distancing the trailer from the original movie’s soft aesthetic.

Color Grading

Desaturating the warm tones and shifting the palette to cooler, more menacing hues.

Sound Design

Incorporating sharp SFX, distorted voiceovers, and a suspenseful score to heighten the atmosphere.

Non-Linear Editing

Re-contextualizing scenes to focus on the obsession and isolation inherent in artificial intimacy, purposefully withholding information to build suspense.
